Saving for future education expenses for a child, a grandchild — or even yourself — can seem out of reach. Virginia529 is offering two webinars today, April 23; these webinars will show you how a Virginia529 account can help you save for tuition and other costs, take advantage of tax-free earnings, and meet your savings goals. Tuesday, April 23

11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Using Your Prepaid529 Account at a Virginia College

This session is intended for customers who are planning to use a Prepaid529 account for the first time at a public or private college in Virginia.

Topics discussed will include:

How/when Virginia529 will communicate with customers
Helpful documents
FAFSA reporting requirements for 529 savings
What schools are eligible and what expenses are covered
How to withdraw funds
Tax reporting
