NOTES:

  • Every year, CommonHealth likes to recognize employees who champion making wellness a priority in their lives and workplaces. Let’s celebrate the ways that employees work together to create a healthy workplace environment and to promote the CommonHealth program as a valuable tool for positive culture change.

Nominate your CommonHealth Wellness Champion; the person in your office who inspires you to live your best, most healthy life. To nominate this person, fill out this form. To learn more about the qualifications, please visit CommonHealth’s site

  • Cooking at home has many health benefits. You can save money and eat healthier. When you make your own meals, you also control how much salt and sugar you add.
    • If you are unsure of where to start or how to use herbs and spices, the Mayo Clinic has a more in depth guide to the flavors, their profiles and how to use them.
    • As the temperature rises, cooking indoors becomes less desirable. Summer is, of course, the perfect time to grill outdoors. Using an air fryer or convection oven is a great way to cook indoors while minimizing the use of the oven. The air fryer also helps add crispness to foods without requiring frying in oil.
