Newsletter: Black masthead with rainbow swish and grey, blue and white text: CommonHealth Weekly Wellnote commonhealth dot virginia dot gov. Top panel centered: Recipe: Grilled Chicken with Summer Corn & Tomato Salad. The busyness of summer can limit the amount of time we want to spend preparing dinner. With the rise of temperatures and our desires to spend less time cooking and more time with family, easy recipes make food prep less of a chore.

This quick 30-minute grilled chicken with summer corn and tomato salad is a great recipe packed with protein, flavor and ease for our busy schedules. The chicken can be prepared on the grill at a BBQ for family and friends or on a grill pan in your home for a quick meal. The corn and tomato salad can also pair with other proteins or as a stand-alone meal. Try this recipe with your family. Enjoy. Photo of a yellow tableclot with a white grid design. Three columns of information. Left column: Invite CommonHealth to shape up for summer. Did you know that one of the best ways to control your appetite and lose weight is to consume adequate amounts of fiber each day? CommonHealth can help with its FOCUS ON FIBER campaign.

Contact your CommonHealth agency coordinator (or HR benefits administrator) today to schedule a visit with your local CommonHealth Wellness Consultant! Center Panel: Men's Health Awareness. The risk for preventable disease tends to be higher for men compared to women in the U.S. We celebrate Men's Health Month in June to encourage men to make healthy lifestyle choices that can lower their risk, such as:

Eat Healthy. WeightWatchers can help! See special pricing available to benefits-eligible employees, spouses and adult dependents at ww dot com slash commonhealth

Get Moving. Choose activities that you enjoy such as playing with your kids or grandkids, hiking or playing sports.

Schedule an annual physical. Regular checkups can help identify many health conditions early when they are m ore easily found and successfully treated.

Right column: A Little Bit Healthier This Week. Try these tips to build good habits for a healthier back:

Take frequent mini-breaks. Set a reminder on your phone or computer and pop up for a quick stretch at least hoursly.

Drink plenty of water. It's good for you and it will get you up and moving more often, too.

Go somewhere for lunch. Just because you've packed a lunch doesn't mean you have to eat it at your desk. Have your lunch in another location or go for a walk over your break. You'll probably come back with a fresh, more creative perspective, too.
