Level Up Hybrid and Online Teaching Skills with Summer Workshops Beginning July 9
While you are enjoying your summer, here is a gentle reminder that workshops are still available to help you improve your hybrid and online teaching skills. Check out the upcoming sessions:
Applying the Quality Matters Rubric, Choose either session: July 9 – 23 or August 6 – 20
This online workshop, offered through Quality Matters, focuses on the national quality standards for online and hybrid courses. It is a great workshop to sharpen your skills designing online and hybrid courses. This workshop demands your commitment for completion, and you are advised to schedule your two weeks accordingly.
Hybrid Certification Course, July 29 – August 25
Designed to certify faculty members to teach hybrid courses at NOVA, this asynchronous training course will equip you with techniques and skills needed to thrive in hybrid courses. Situated in the real-world context, this training course intends to guide faculty for a strong start with hybrid courses from conceptualization to implementation through hands-on learning. This session is scheduled just in time for you to teach hybrid courses in the fall.
