Making Address Changes in HCM
Please update your address in HCM only if you have moved or need to list a different address for mailing or home.
HR is required to format addresses in HCM per USPS guidelines; this includes having an apartment number on a certain line and including the additional four-digit zip codes. We also abbreviate “Lane,” “Drive,” “Road,” etc., per USPS guidelines. Please do not update your address only to change formatting or add punctuation.
Also, it is required in HCM to have a business phone number listed. The 703-323-3000 number is used for all new hires as we do not know what the correct number will be at the time of hire. If you would like to update that phone number you may do so, but please do not remove it entirely. Also, do not list your personal phone number as your business phone.
