It’s that time of year again! Join us in celebration of Virginia Intern Day (VID) in tandem with National Intern Day (NID) this Thursday, July 25! On this day, we’d like to recognize NOVA faculty and staff who advise our students on the benefits of internships. We appreciate your commitment to your work, and we hope you will continue to encourage students to further their career exposure as the leaders of tomorrow. Your contributions are key to NOVA and the commonwealth! Thank you for being an advocate for student interns.

Students love internships — here’s how you can help them put their best foot forward: 

  • Refer them to Career Connection to search for internships and to the Career Services website for workshops, information sessions and more!
    • Students can also use this helpful internship guide to understand the benefits of an internship, what an internship entails and NACE’s stance on paid internships.

Collaborate with us!

  • Refer companies to Business Engagement so we can help them set up an internship program for NOVA students.
