Welcome NOVA’s New Student Support Database Manager!
It is with great pleasure that we announce Mack Bowen as the new student support database manager within NOVA’s Office of Wellness and Mental Health. In this role, Mack will provide collegewide administrative oversight for Maxient, the College’s case management system. He will be responsible for implementing and administering case coordination, data analytics and reporting; providing Maxient-based technical assistance; and conducting training. Mack brings with him significant experience working with Maxient and looks forward to continuing to expand his expertise within the system.
Before joining NOVA, Mack worked at Catholic University as a community director in the Office of Residence Life, where he oversaw seven residence halls and provided crisis response on campus. At Catholic, Mack was involved with student life, volunteering for numerous events and serving as a staff advisor on three Habitat for Humanity service trips. Mack received his undergraduate degree from Catholic University and his graduate degree from Merrimack College. Outside of the office, he likes to spend time with his friends and family. He also enjoys watching movies, reading and traveling. Mack is excited to join and be part of the NOVA community. Welcome, Mack!
