Former Acting VP of Student Affairs Takes on New Leadership Role

Student Affairs is pleased to announce that Dr. Beatrice McKeithen, former acting vice president of student affairs, has accepted a new leadership role within our division. Effective, July 1, 2024, Dr. McKeithen began her new role as acting special assistant for student affairs’ strategic initiatives.

Throughout her tenure as acting VP, Dr. McKeithen demonstrated exceptional dedication, strategic thinking and a commitment to our institution’s mission. Her contributions have been invaluable, and we are confident that she will continue to excel in this new capacity.

In her new role, Dr. McKeithen will collaborate with the vice president of student affairs to align divisional initiatives with institutional and system level priorities. Her vision and expertise will undoubtedly drive our team toward even greater success.
