Congratulations to President Kress, ACCT’s 2024 Southern Region CEO

It is with great pride and pleasure that we announce the exceptional achievement of President Anne M. Kress, who has been honored by the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) as the Southern Region 2024 Chief Executive Officer. This prestigious recognition reflects Dr. Kress’ visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to advancing the mission of Northern Virginia Community College.

The College Board’s decision to nominate Dr. Kress for this award was driven by her outstanding leadership, innovative approach and unwavering dedication to the success and well-being of the NOVA community. The final selection of one distinguished award recipient from each category will be announced at the ACCT annual gala in Seattle in October.
