Learn More About the SPARK Project! Info Sessions, August 22 and 30

August 19, 2024 / HR News/Training

We are excited to invite the NOVA community to a brief information session about the SPARK Project – a unique opportunity for NOVA faculty and staff to deliver a compelling five-minute presentation proposing a single, actionable idea that can significantly enhance student success.

At NOVA, we recognize that our faculty and staff are the driving force of curiosity, innovation and initiative. This year’s “Stop at Nothing” theme embodies our commitment to pushing boundaries and striving for excellence. We encourage you to embrace this spirit, think creatively and envision boldly. Let your curiosity guide you as you explore innovative initiatives and solutions. Your “spark” has the potential to create a profound impact. The goal is to foster a dynamic marketplace of ideas that inspires and supports innovation, adaptation and excellence.

Information sessions will be held via Zoom on Thursday, August 22 at 3 p.m. and Friday, August 30 at 11 a.m. (Zoom links are below).

The top Prize is $1,000 with Honorable Mentions (up to two) to receive $500 each.

The SPARK Project is made possible through the generous sponsorship of NOVA Professors Emeriti Reva A. Savkar and Robert C. Loser.
