NOVA Announces New College Board Member

We are excited to welcome Hong Xu as the incoming NOVA College Board representative for the City of Manassas Park. Mr. Xu brings with him a wealth of knowledge and commitment to serving NOVA and our students.

As a first-generation immigrant from Shanghai, China, Mr. Xu developed a life-long passion for helping the children of immigrant families and first-generation college students to navigate post high school pathways. He has lived in Manassas Park since 2000 and has served on both the Manassas Park School Board and previously on the NOVA College Board.

Mr. Xu recently retired from a long career as an in-house counsel at DuPont. He holds a J.D. degree from Cooley Law School, an M.S. from Utah State University and a B.S. from East China University of Science and Technology. 

We look forward to working with Mr. Xu in leadership and service to NOVA.
