Register for CATE “AI and Teaching” Listening Tours via Zoom, Sept. 16
For some teaching faculty, Generative AI seems to offer inspiring ways to enhance teaching and increase student success, while other faculty worry that GenAI encourages cheating and eliminates critical thinking and creativity. Indigo Eriksen, interim director of faculty professional development, is curious to learn more about faculty hopes, dreams, fears, ideas and concerns surrounding AI and teaching.
MSTB and LASS faculty are invited to attend a brief listening tour via Zoom to share their thoughts about AI and teaching at NOVA. The goal of these short listening tours is to better understand faculty positions and develop professional development opportunities that meet our needs.
Listening Tours will be held on Monday, September 16:
- 9 a.m.: MSTB faculty
- 10 a.m.: LASS faculty
- 4 p.m.: MSTB faculty
- 4.30 p.m.: LASS faculty
To register, please fill out this brief Google Form.
