“A Journey in Art” Now on Display at Manassas Campus

September 16, 2024 / Music, Arts & Other Pretty Stuff

Manassas Campus invites the College community to a truly beautiful exhibit by Fred A. Treyz, “A Journey in Art.” This exhibit is located on the second floor of Manassas’ Campus, Colgan Hall.

“I strive to capture a feeling of an emotion with my colors. I do it by ‘sword fighting’ with my brush or treating it as a ‘feather’ on a canvas,” Treyz said. “I believe in painting verbs, not nouns. My goal is to inspire those that see my work to be sensitive and appreciative to the beauty of the world around them. To me, art is an exploration via meditation of the human experience.”

Come experience “Fritz’s” work and to encourage students to as well. We are fortunate to have such moving and reflective original artwork so take advantage!
