Nighthawk Creative Writer’s Nest to Begin Fall 2024 Chapter!

The Nighthawk Creative Writer’s Nest, a student club, invites students from all campuses, majors and disciplines to join together to work on writing across the curriculum. This peer-reviewed, creative writing group supports fellow club members in their writing by providing constructive critique and support without the stress of earning grades. It is an effort to emphasize the power of the written word and the importance of what can be accomplished through writing. Additionally, the club hopes to use this platform to bring LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC voices to the forefront of the narrative. Decolonizing creative writing spaces is an important endeavor in making sure that all students at NOVA feel seen and heard.
