Winter 2024 and Spring 2025 Textbook and Digital Materials Adoptions Are Now Due!

October 2, 2024 / General NOVA News

While it might seem too early to start talking about spring, winter 2024 and spring 2025 book requests/adoptions were due to the bookstores by October 1!

Designated department personnel (not “all faculty”) must submit winter and spring textbook and course material information through the bookstore adoption portal on NOVA’s website. (Sign in using your VCCS username.) (This is to clarify that materials selection is coordinated through deans and associate deans, by policy)

The bookstore personnel understand that the schedule is not finalized. However, the information for the courses that have been finalized needs to be submitted to ensure that all course materials can be acquired to support NOVA All Access.

If you have any concerns/questions about materials adoptions, please reach out to your department dean, associate dean or campus bookstore for assistance.

Meeting the October 1 deadline helps Barnes & Noble have all material on hand to support NOVA All Access distribution of course materials to students.

As a reminder, NOVA All Access is a student-centric course material delivery model. The program reduces the cost of materials for students and ensures they have all their materials, across all courses, prior to the first day of class. More information about NOVA All Access can be found at www.nvcc.edu/novaallaccess and in previous Daily Flyer articles (August 15, 2024, and September 12, 2024)
