CVC Charity Spotlight: Pink Space Theory

The Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) kicked off on October 2. The CVC is an annual charity drive that offers employees the opportunity to donate to their favorite causes. You can support these charities through payroll deduction or credit card contributions. You may also choose to donate directly to an approved charity and submit your receipt to have it counted toward the CVC. Donations can include volunteer time, goods or direct giving. A full list of approved charities can be found on the CVC website.

Our spotlight this week is on Pink Space Theory, a charity that provides STEM programs to youth in Northern Virginia. Its vision is “inspiring, training and transforming today’s underrepresented and underserved youth to become the next generation of leaders in STEAM.” Pink Space Theory accomplishes this by encouraging youth to explore STEM through educational programs and the organization’s mobile makerspace.
