NOVA Alexandria Free Concerts Continue This Evening

NOVA Alexandria is pleased to present several musical events this season! The following concerts are free and open to the public:

NOVA Band Concert
Thursday, October 24, at 8 p.m.
Alexandria Campus Schlesinger Arts Center (AS)
Come hear the NOVA Alexandria Band perform its Fall 2024 concert, “Journeys.” The band will perform music by Percy Grainger, Henry Mancini, Elmer Bernstein, Karl King, Giuseppe Verdi, Yukiko Nishimura, Pascual Marquina and Rossano Galante. The concert is dedicated to the memory of Dean Kauffman, beloved longtime euphonium player in the band. Admission and parking are free.   

Jazz Night Concert
Friday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m.
Alexandria Campus AFA Recital Hall (AFA-118)
This concert will feature the NOVA Nighthawks and the NOVA Jazz Combos performing pieces with a game theme!
