OUTDOOR OPTIONS

There are many benefits to keeping it outdoors. Fall offers a unique window to enjoy the outdoors. Here’s why you should consider incorporating some outdoor activities into your routine.

  • Fresh Air Advantage: Studies suggest exercising outdoors is beneficial. Breathe in the crisp autumn air, which the EPA considers potentially healthier than indoor air.
  • Nature’s Workout Boost: Uneven terrain and changing weather conditions can challenge your body in new ways, potentially maximizing your workout’s effectiveness.
  • Mental Health Matters: Studies show that outdoor exercise can significantly boost your mood.

This Week’s Tip:  Make this Monday your day to take small steps to add more movement to your days. Let’s not miss these chances to “move your way” while connecting with our community and celebrating our health and wellbeing.
