Final Day of Open Enrollment for Legal Resources and ORPHE

Open enrollment is underway for several important resources. Please read on for information on Legal Resources and ORPHE open enrollment:

LEGAL RESOURCES
Legal Resources open enrollment will run through today, October 31, with an effective date of January 1, 2025.

Legal Resources is a benefit available for NOVA employees. This provides up to 100% coverage, depending on the legal service needed, for you, your spouse and your qualifying dependent children. Services they offer include will preparation and estate planning, traffic violations, general advice and consultation and more. For more information and to enroll, please visit the website here.

Additionally, if you are looking to cancel your current Legal Resources coverage, please let the Benefits team know, and we can assist you with that process. You can cancel your coverage by Today, with an effective date of January 1, 2025. If you have any questions, please reach out to the Benefits team at benefits@nvcc.edu.

OPTIONAL RETIREMENT PLAN FOR HIGHER EDUCATION (ORPHE)
Participants in the Optional Retirement Plan for Higher Education (ORPHE) have an opportunity to change providers each year. Open Enrollment occurs annually from October 1 to October 31, and is effective the first payroll in the following calendar year.

Participants have a choice of two providers: DCP (currently administrated by MissionSquare Retirement, transitioning to Voya on January 1, 2025) and TIAA. See Provider Options for information on the plan investments available through each provider.
