Thanks for Making the Kaiser Permanente Mobile Health Van Event a Success!

October 31, 2024 / Get Well

The Office of Employee Wellness and Wellbeing (OEWW) extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the Kaiser Permanente Mobile Health Van visit. The Kaiser Mobile Health Van visited both the Annandale and Alexandria Campuses on Monday, October 28, and served an impressive 85 NOVA community members across both locations. Your attendance, participation and support helped make this community wellness event a success.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive! Participants reported that the van was easily accessible, and 100% of surveyed visitors expressed interest in having the Mobile Health Van return in the future. Additionally, participants indicated they would recommend the service to others, confirming the significant value the van brought to our community.

Special thanks to our collegewide and campus partners who made this event possible:  Campus provosts, Campus DCOs, Parking Services, NOVA Police, the Office of Student Life, PTK volunteers, Daily Flyer team and the Nighthawk News. Your collaborative efforts helped make health education, screenings and vaccinations more accessible to our community. Thank you for contributing to the success of this community wellness event!
