Dental Hygiene Students Attend VDHA HOD in Richmond

November 1, 2024 / ICYMI (In Case You Missed It)

Two second-year dental hygiene students from NOVA’s Medical Education Campus attended the Virginia Dental Hygienists’ Association state House of Delegates meeting in Richmond. These students represented NOVA’s Dental Hygiene Program on the house floor. Each dental hygiene program had student delegates participate. The picture is of the two students and dental hygiene faculty accompanied them to be part of the HOD meeting. Students get an opportunity to observe proceedings and participate in proceedings that may shape their future as a Registered Dental Hygienist. They represented NVCC and dental hygiene magnificently.
