SDV-100 Task Force Issues Report, Recommendations
The SDV-100 Ad Hoc Taskforce has completed its assignment and made recommendations to President Kress on:
- compliance with VCCS Policy,
- curriculum alignment within the VCCS,
- successful completion rates, and
- state-mandated content.
We invite you to read the charge, the report and recommendations, and the president’s response in the Ad Hoc Committee Archive on SharePoint.
The Taskforce reaffirmed SDV’s importance in connecting students to NOVA and preparing them for college success. We were inspired by our colleagues’ work in support of students as they navigated the complicated terrain of higher education. We also appreciated the opportunity to explore some of the perceptions of SDV and investigate what could further contribute to students thriving at NOVA.
