Shifting Perspectives: Student Photography Exhibition at WO, Nov. 20 thru Dec. 17

November 20, 2024 / Music, Arts & Other Pretty Stuff

The Advanced Photography I & II students at NOVA’s Woodbridge Campus present their semester-long photography projects in this diverse exhibition at the Woodbridge Art Gallery. Each student focused on a specific theme or concept, showcasing a range of creative approaches and perspectives.

The exhibit features a variety of photographic styles, including color and black-and-white work, photojournalism, staged photography, and images addressing environmental and conceptual themes. Students worked in teams to curate, install, and promote the show, combining their efforts into a cohesive display.

The exhibition runs from Wednesday, November 20 through Tuesday, December 17 in the Woodbridge Art Gallery in the Arts & Sciences Building. An opening reception with the students will be held on November 20 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Come see their work and explore the many ways photography can tell a story.
