Applications for the Fab Lab’s Design Incubator Now Open
Applications are now open for the NOVA Fab Lab’s Design Incubator program! This National Science Foundation sponsored opportunity is open to any NOVA student interested in learning how to design and prototype a product from scratch alongside developing fundamental entrepreneurship skills. Working in interdisciplinary teams, students will ideate, develop, and prototype a new product or service, culminating in a formal pitch event to an external audience. Students in any discipline are welcome to apply, with students in Business, Engineering, Art, or any IET program especially encouraged.
Spring 2025 Program Schedule:
- Apply here by January 26
- Attend incubator orientation on March 13
- Attend six weekly ideation workshops from 3 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., March 27 – May 1
- Attend the summer incubator at the Fab Lab from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., May 19 – June 13
- Accepted students will receive a $3,000 stipend for participating
