Introducing the New Title IX Process Map: A Valuable Resource for NOVA Employees

November 25, 2024 / HR News/Training

The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and the Title IX Office is happy to announce the availability of the Title IX Process Map, a new tool designed to guide NOVA employees in navigating Title IX-related concerns, including addressing sex-based discrimination and sexual harassment.   Please remember the Title IX process applies to students, faculty, and staff. If you have questions please review the process map and connect with the Title IX Coordinator, Rahma Kohin.

Key Features of the Title IX Process Map:

  • Step-by-Step Process: Highlights each phase of the Title IX process, from reporting concerns to resolution, while outlining the rights and responsibilities of all involved parties.
  • Guidance for Faculty & Staff: Offers actionable advice on responding to Title IX-related concerns with empathy, neutrality, and adherence to confidentiality policies.

Where to Find the Process Map
You can access the Title IX Process Map on the Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion’s SharePoint site, under the icon labeled “Addressing Sex-Based Discrimination.”
