CVC Campaign Charity Spotlight
The Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) kicked off in October. This annual charity drive offers employees the opportunity to donate to their favorite causes. You can support these charities through payroll deduction or credit card contributions. You may also choose to donate directly to an approved charity and submit your receipt to have it counted toward the CVC. Donations can include volunteer time, goods or direct giving. A full list of approved charities can be found on the CVC website.
Our spotlight this week is on the Fairfax Library Foundation, a charity that provides support to the Fairfax County Public Library system, which is the largest public library system in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Foundation works to improve programs and services to “positively impact the lives of over one million residents living in our community by providing access to information, technology, innovations, civic engagement and entertainment, and by offering literacy and educational opportunities.” For more information about the Fairfax Library Foundation.
