Registration Now Open for WONDER, The Conference

NOVA’s Center for the Advancement of Teaching Excellence (CATE) will host its winter faculty professional development conference on Tuesday, January 7, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Ernst Community Cultural Center on the Annandale Campus (CE Building).

Formerly known as Power Up Your Pedagogy (PUP), the 2025 conference has been recently renamed WONDER to inspire a sense of curiosity and engagement. Sessions will explore themes of teaching with AI, cultural stories, interactive teaching strategies and online teaching and course design. Limited complimentary copies of A Pedagogy of Kindness, by Cate Denial, and Generations, by Jean Twenge, will be provided to WONDER attendees, who will be first to register for either or both reading groups. The groups will be hosted virtually by CATE this spring (dates forthcoming).
