“Take 10 for You,” Tomorrow at 11
As festive as it is, the holiday season is often filled with stress, anxiety and pressure. That said, it’s important to prioritize self-care and find moments of peace amid the chaos.
In today’s fast-paced environment, it’s easy to get caught up in deadlines, meetings and never-ending to-do lists. But did you know that taking just 10 minutes a day for yourself can make a huge difference in your overall health and productivity? Consider using this brief pause to practice mindfulness, do some light stretching or simply step away from your desk to clear your mind. Small breaks can reduce stress, improve focus and increase overall job and personal satisfaction, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life both inside and outside of work.
This workshop, presented by Amy Moore with the Virginia Department of Human Resource Management, will be held tomorrow, December 18, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. Attendees will learn how to incorporate a short but impactful period into their day to prioritize their personal wellbeing. Register now to save your spot!
