Sign Up Now: Generations by Jean Twenge Reading Group

January 7, 2025 / Events

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching Excellence (CATE) will host a virtual reading group on the book Generations by spring convening speaker, Dr. Jean Twenge. The first 200 people to sign up will receive a complimentary hardcover copy of the book.

Drawing on data from 39 million people, Generations  demonstrates that technological advancement is the fundamental force shaping each generation’s distinct characteristics. Her groundbreaking study maps out how different generations have evolved in their perspectives and life choices, exploring everything from gender roles and financial patterns to political views, racial attitudes, sexual identity, marital trends, psychological wellbeing and beyond.

Join your colleagues for discussion on how we can support the unique learning needs of Gen Z and future generations in the virtual reading group. To register, use this link. Reading groups will begin in early February.
