Attention Faculty: Canvas Course Navigation and All Access

Clear and simple course navigation is key to student success. Keep the Course Materials link visible in your Canvas course so students can easily reach their All Access materials, find their resources quickly and stay on track.

If you have unpublished this critical link, you can update it by following these directions:

1. Open Your Course: Go to Canvas and select the course you want to update.
2. Click “Settings” (at the bottom of the course menu).
3. Go to the “Navigation” Tab at the top of the Settings page.
4. Rearrange Links by dragging and dropping the items you want visible to the “Visible Items” section. Move unused links to “Hidden Items.”
5. Click “Save” (at the bottom) to apply your changes.

Now your updated navigation menu will appear for students!
