Manassas Visual Humor Exhibit Open thru Feb. 1. FREE!

January 28, 2025 / Faculty/Staff Highlights

Visual Humor, the controversial exhibit curated by Erica Hughes, NOVA professor of Art History (MA), remains open to the public through February 1. Try to find the one artwork that was censored due to public complaints while considering the benefits of challenging expressions versus community engagement. The exhibit even continues in the bathroom!

This event will be held at the artists’ cooperative at 2704 Mt Vernon Ave, Alexandria, VA 22301. As always, it is free and open to the public.

The gallery is open Fridays from 12 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
