Nominations due Feb. 21 for faculty rewards, recognition
The nomination period for NOVA’s 2025 Reward Programs for faculty is open until Friday, February 21.
Why it matters: Recognizing outstanding faculty is crucial to fostering a supportive and motivating environment. Full-time and adjunct faculty who have demonstrated exceptional achievements may receive a monetary award of up to $2,000. Nominations highlight the commitment and dedication of our faculty to student success.
Nominate for a reward: Submit the Reward and Recognition Program Nomination Form (125-386E) with a statement up to 500 words detailing why the nominee deserves recognition and concrete examples of accomplishments. Submit nominations by the deadline for consideration.
Nominations will be reviewed by three separate committees selected by the College Senate and the campus forum councils.
Also, full-time classified staff and P14 employees are eligible for a reward under the NOVA Spot Award Program. Use Form 105-245 to submit a Spot Award nomination or visit the NOVA Spot Award Program page on NOVAnet.
Recognize colleagues: Besides formal awards, colleagues can send a “thank you” using NOVAfy, our ecard recognition program. Access NOVAfy through NOVAnet with your myNOVA login credentials to send an e-card.
