Mark Anderson’s Searching opening reception, Feb. 27

NOVA’s Loudoun Campus Waddell Gallery is pleased to announce Mark Anderson’s solo exhibition, Searching. The show will open on Monday, Feb. 24, and will be on display until March 21. Stop in to meet the artist at the opening reception on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 3 – 5 p.m. Light refreshments will be available! 

About Anderson’s work: In Searching, Mark Anderson provides a visual reflection of his personal history, his experimentation with various painting techniques and his response to the work of artists he admires. The show connects his interest in personal objects via still-life, figures and landscapes that are part of his regular surroundings, including toys, clothes, plants, shells, family members and pets. The exhibition brings together his search for inspiration, creative clarity and balance between family life and a productive studio practice.
