Day 5 of Open Ed Week: Showcasing and Synthesizing Innovations
As we conclude Open Education Week today, we recognize that the work of open education continues far beyond this week. A key part of open ed is sharing knowledge and refining best practices together. Remember, you can find lots of great resources, information, presentations and ideas about the most current OER from OE Global’s Open Education Week site.
At NOVA, we’re keeping the celebration going all month long, culminating in our Instructional Design Bootcamp (March 17-21). Day 5 of the Bootcamp (March 21) will focus on Showcase & Synthesize, where faculty will present course designs, engage in peer feedback, and discuss quality assurance strategies to refine their work. This collaborative space ensures that the impact of Open Education continues well beyond March.
Why it matters: Open Education thrives on collaboration. By sharing what we’ve learned, we build a stronger community of educators dedicated to student success.
