Urgent Leave Sharing Request

A classified staff member at the Loudoun Campus has requested to participate in the Leave Sharing Program. 

Virginia’s Leave Sharing Program permits eligible employees in a Leave Without Pay (LWOP) status due to a qualified Family Medical Leave (FML) event to receive income by using leave hours donated to them by other employees. Leave must be donated in eight-hour increments and per DHRM policy, only annual leave hours are eligible for donation.

If you would like to donate leave hours, please complete the  Leave Share Donor Form and submit it to benefits@nvcc.edu. Donors only need to complete the following fields of the Leave Share Donor Form:

• Donor Name:
• State ID#:
• Annual Leave Hours Donated:
• Donor’s Signature:
• Date:
