New HR micro-training videos: Accessible, on-demand learning
The Office of Human Resources is pleased to introduce a new series of micro-training videos designed to support employees by providing clear, step-by-step guidance on common HR processes. These short, on-demand resources offer a convenient way to gain a better understanding of key HR procedures or refresh your knowledge as needed.
As part of our commitment to professional development and process transparency, we are launching the first three training videos in this series:
- Employee Separation Process – A step-by-step guide to completing the 105-021 Separation Notification Form and the 105-022 Employment Separation Checkout Form.
- Full-Time Faculty Promotion Process – A brief overview of the promotion process for full-time faculty members.
- Classified Staff Professional and Skill Development Program – An overview of how eligible employees can receive compensation by acquiring new knowledge and skills through job-related training, education, industry certifications, and/or licenses.
This initiative is just the beginning of our efforts to provide employees with accessible, self-paced learning opportunities. We want to ensure these resources are as useful as possible, so if you encounter an HR process that could benefit from additional guidance, we encourage you to submit your suggestions to HRLearn@nvcc.edu.
We look forward to supporting your success through these training resources!
