Women’s History Month poetry performance, Tomorrow at 12
Join us at the Alexandria Campus (AA-196) on Wednesday, March 26 from 12-2 p.m. for Listening to the Voices of Women Poets: an In-Person Reading. This event is intended to celebrate Women’s History Month!
This event is being hosted by Alexandria’s Care and Inclusion Committee in collaboration with the Alexandria Office of the Arts and Alexandria City’s Poet Laureate Zeina Azzamat. Local poet performances include: Majda Gama, Sue Ann Gleason, KaNikki Jakarta, Holly Karapetkova, Homa Mojadidi and Anita Nahal
What to expect: Local poets will perform and light refreshments will be served after the reading. The poets’ books will be available for purchase. This event is free and open to everyone!
