Understanding human trafficking with Maureen Moslow-Benway, March 27
NOVA’s Administration of Justice, ADJ-250: Global Security course is pleased to welcome Maureen Moslow-Benway, a distinguished expert in terrorism, counterterrorism, covert action and international development. Join us via Zoom on Thursday, March 27, from 7-9:30 p.m. This will be a great opportunity for students Interested in global law enforcement and a topic of interest to many faculty and staff as well.
With an extensive career as a special agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Moslow-Benway has worked on high-level security operations and intelligence investigations. Her expertise extends beyond counterterrorism, though. She has been actively involved in combatting human trafficking, working to disrupt global trafficking networks and supporting victims of exploitation.
She has earned numerous accolades, including: Officer Agent of the Year for Southeast Asia and the Southeastern U.S. and the Department of Defense Counterintelligence Agent of the Year. She has dedicated herself to humanitarian efforts, advocating for victims of human trafficking and co-leading fundraising efforts for reconstructive surgery for children affected by polio in India.
