NOVA Esports: Empowering Women in Gaming

March 31, 2025 / Our Nighthawks

NOVA Esports continues to grow and excel across all areas—fostering community, boosting engagement and enhancing the overall experience. Our women’s esports team has been thriving, showcasing exceptional dedication both in competition and academics. Currently, our Nighthawks are 4-1, and rank in the top eight for women’s Valorant in college esports.

With success comes influence, and we’re excited to announce a new collaboration with Virginia Tech’s women’s team, forming a powerhouse duo called the “HokieHawks.” This esports collaboration exemplifies the power of esports as a platform for connecting with other colleges, helping create valuable relationships that elevate our students’ experiences.

Let’s keep shining!
