Welcome/Introduction

Engineers apply mathematics and natural sciences in order to benefit the world around us.  They utilize technical skills and practical knowledge to design, innovate, and invent.  The field of engineering is very broad with many specializations.  The Engineering (AS) curriculum prepares students for transfer into a baccalaureate degree program in many different engineering fields.    NOVA has transfer agreements with many 4-year engineering programs.

Students are advised to work closely with the faculty and counseling staff for program and course scheduling.  Electives should be chosen carefully to meet the requirements of the transfer institution.  The responsibility for proper course selection rests with the student.

NOVA Engineering Faculty developed this website to provide Engineering students a single portal to explore and compare the different engineering degree programs offered by NOVA’s senior institution partners, after completion of their NOVA engineering associates degree.
Since transfer information can change during any given semester or academic year, students are advised to meet with their Engineering Faculty Advisor listed in this portal, in addition to visiting the senior institutions’ website to view the latest information available.
