Bio

J.K. Daniels’s first book of poems, Wedding Pulls (Hub City Press, 2016:  https://www.hubcity.org/press/catalog/poetry/wedding-pulls) was selected by C.D. Wright for the New Southern Voices Poetry Prize. Her poems have appeared in Best New Poets, The New Orleans Review, and elsewhere. She is an English professor and the dean for the Division of Languages and Literature on the Annandale Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. She reads for The Northern Virginia Review (https://blogs.nvcc.edu/tnvr/).
