As an educator, he mentored hundreds of young writers, and was a 2013 recipient of the prestigious SCHEV Outstanding Faculty Award.

The 2019 Robert Bausch Fiction Prize winner is Virginia-based author  Bill Glose for his story “Her Brother’s Apartment.”  Glose was awarded the prize at TNVR’s 2019 Launch Celebration in March.  You may listen to Glose read an excerpt from his prize-winning story in the following segment of NOVA News.
