Pell grant recipients at NOVA consistently have a higher fall-to-spring retention rate than students who did not receive a Pell grant. Among the fall 2018 first-time to NOVA cohort, 86 percent of Pell recipients returned to NOVA for the spring semester, compared to only 79 percent of non-Pell recipients.
