Annandale Lyceum Kicks Off Women’s History Month Series on March 4
The first presentation of the Annandale Lyceum Committee’s Women’s History Month Series, part of the Lunch and Learn Sessions via Zoom, will be offered at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 4.
Carolyn Knowles, manager of fellowships and international internships in the Office of STEM Engagement at NASA, will present “Broadening Participation for STEM Engagement.” She will discuss efforts to promote greater diversity and inclusion with students and faculty from underrepresented and underserved populations at NASA and in the workforce of the next generation.
Registration information for this presentation, and the full schedule of speakers for the Lunch and Learn Sessions via Zoom, can be found on the Lyceum Committee Blog. Registration is required in advance for each presentation and a confirmation e-mail will then be sent containing the link to join the presentation.
The two final Lyceum presentations for the Spring Semester include a Women’s History Month panel on March 18 and a World Autism Day speech in April. The Lunch and Learn Sessions via Zoom are open to faculty, staff, students and anyone else who wishes to register for any of them.
