REMINDER: Applications for 2+ Telework Days Due Today by Noon
This is an important reminder that applications for two or more days of telework, and all supporting documentation, are due today by 12 p.m.

On Friday, May 13, Dr. Kress held a college-wide Zoom meeting to outline how NOVA will implement Virginia’s new policy on teleworking (DHRM Policy 1.61 Teleworking). NOVA’s process aligns with DHRM Policy 1.61 and VCCS criteria.

PROCESS TO SUBMIT STANDARD TELEWORK AGREEMENT
- REQUESTS FOR 1 DAY OF TELEWORK (e-Form 105-109) Due Friday at 5 p.m.
- Employee reads DHRM 1.61 Policy Teleworking and reviews eligibility criteria for one day of telework.
- Employee meets with supervisor to discuss eligibility criteria based on Employee’s EWP.
- Employee reads Terms of Telework Agreement, completes electronic Standard Telework Agreement Form (e-Form 105-109) and submits electronically to supervisor.
- Supervisor reviews form, verifies employee eligibility, completes Supervisor Attestation Form (part of e-Form 105-109) and submits electronically to Dr. Kress by 5 p.m. on May 20, 2022.
NOTE: When the e-form goes to Dr. Kress, an information-only notification is sent to the VP/Provost. - Employees will be notified via email of the status of their request by the Office of Human Resources no later than June 3, 2002.
- REQUESTS FOR 2+ DAYS OF TELEWORK (fillable PDF) Due Today at Noon.
- Employee reads DHRM 1.61 Policy Teleworking and reviews eligibility criteria for 2+ days of telework.
- Employee meets with Supervisor to discuss eligibility criteria based on Employee’s EWP
- Employee reads Terms of Telework Agreement, completes Standard Telework Agreement Form (fillable PDF) and submits to supervisor.
- Supervisor reviews form; verifies employee eligibility; completes Supervisor Attestation Form; identifies requirements for 2+ days of telework; attaches accompanying documentation and submits to Dr. Kress at PresidentsOffice@nvcc.edu (with a copy to your VP/Provost and HRAdmin@nvcc.edu) by 12 p.m. on May 19, 2022.
The following documents must be submitted:
- Standard Telework Agreement Form (fillable PDF)
- Supervisor Attestation Form
- Required documentation
Employees will be notified via email of the status of their request by the Office of Human Resources no later than June 3, 2022.
