NOVA’s CashContest

Each year, NOVA’s Financial Aid Office offers CashContest to encourage students to learn more about managing their personal finances. During the 2021-2022 CashContest, students completed 379 financial literacy courses through Financial Avenue.

A similar CashContest will be offered once again for the upcoming academic year. The 2022-2023 contest rules are currently posted on the financial literacy blog. By taking about 45 minutes to complete a course, students can be entered for a chance to win one of eight $500 awards that can be applied toward their student account. If all four courses are completed by the May 15, 2023 deadline, students will be entered in the final comprehensive drawing for a $1,000 award.
