NOVA Police: Secure It or Lose It Initiative to Help Prevent Property Thefts

In January, NOVA Police launched the “Secure It or Lose It” initiative to help spread awareness about property protection. See the original Daily Flyer story here. Officers from all campuses spoke throughout the community about property protection and placed tent cards in common areas reminding the NOVA community not to leave property unattended.

With the start of spring, NOVA Police are continuing to promote this important initiative to our faculty, staff and students. In the coming weeks, NOVA Police officers will saturate their campuses, interacting with the community and handing out tent cards. Feel free to stop and get to know your NOVA officers and ask questions.

If you would like to learn more or would like some tent cards to help promote our initiative, please contact Lieutenant Tony Ong at TOng2@nvcc.edu
