Rise and Shine, wellness enthusiast! The end of February/beginning of March is here, and it’s time to energize our wellness journey! We invite you to spring forward with these exciting challenges from OEWW and our Wellness Partners:

❤️ February is Heart Health Month: Register for the Virginia Department of Health’s Walk with Ease Challenge and make heart-healthy habits. 

🎯 Be Fly (FIT, LEAN[ER], YOU)! Challenges. Join March’s challenge—45 miles in 30 days! Check Here for more monthly movement challenges from NOVA Campus Recreation.

🎉 Couch to 5K, Your Way” Challenge. Ready to move your way? The Center for the Advancement of Teaching Excellence (CATE) and the Office of Employee Wellness and Wellbeing (OEWW) are teaming up to bring you a fun, flexible and empowering fitness program! Visit the digital bulletin board for more.

🥾 Outdoor Adventure. Join Dr. Indigo Eriksen (CATE) for hikes or backpacking trips! Our next Adventure Hike (Degree of Difficulty: Hard) is Friday, Feb. 28. 5.5 miles at  Cranny Crow, West Virginia. Email Indigo with questions.

🏐 Do you love volleyball? Indoor & outdoor volleyball tournaments are coming up! Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, join NOVA Campus Rec’s collegewide volleyball community. Fill out the interest form now for more details—free agents are always welcome.
