CHD / EDU Syllabi

Students sometimes ask to view the course content and syllabi before classes begin.  These Syllabi / Course Content documents will help you get a sense of what will be covered in classes and the types of assignments that you may be expected to complete.  Your instructor will provide you with the most recent syllabi no later than the first day of classes.

Syllabi  / Course Content Summaries (subject to change)
In the early childhood certificate and degree programs you will be assessed on a variety of Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) that are aligned to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Standards.  You will complete reading assignments, course specific assignments and projects, and exams throughout these courses.  Your instructor will use a variety of teaching methods that may include face-2-face instruction, online teaching, or a combination of both known as hybrid classes.  If you have questions about your course syllabus, please see your instructor on the first day of class.
