Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) has been granted accreditation of the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) program by HVAC Excellence. NOVA understands that HVACR is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States and wanted to validate that the HVACR program has the resources necessary to prepare graduates for this trade that cannot be outsourced or automated.

The College was granted accreditation once again in 2017. Prior to this date, it was 2010; when first gained Accreditation through HVAC Excellence. As well as the other Accreditations throughout the college.
